We welcome PEACEBOAT from Japan

Hi everyone,
On 5th October monday, we're meeting with Japanese friends in Izmir as the team TREXEVS. They're known as PEACEBOAT. First, let me tell what peaceboat is;
Peace Boat is a Japan-based international non-governmental and non-profit organization that works to promote peace, human rights, equal and sustainable development and respect for the environment.

Peace Boat seeks to create awareness and action based on effecting positive social and political change in the world. We pursue this through the organization of global educational programmes, responsible travel, cooperative projects and advocacy activities. These activities are carried out on a partnership basis with other civil society organizations and communities in Japan, Northeast Asia, and around the world.

Peace Boat carries out its main activities through a chartered passenger ship that travels the world on peace voyages. The ship creates a neutral, mobile space and enables people to engage across borders in dialogue and mutual cooperation at sea, and in the ports that we visit. Activities based on Japan and Northeast Asia are carried out from our eight Peace Centers in Japan.
Their next station is Izmir and we're going to spend one day with our friends from Peaceboat. During the day, while we're giving some information about our culture, life and so on... at the same time we're expecting to learn Japanese culture, language(even a little bit) and what peaceboat is etc...
I believe that it's a great chance for me to have a cultural integration with Japanese people bcoz I may have not anymore chance to meet with them or I change my idea about living/working in Japan after talking with them;):p.
Let me tell a little about the program:
We'll meet with our friends in Selcuk in the morning.
Selcuk is the starting point for cultural exchange:)
After greeting them, we'll do Turkish culture presentation and just after that we'll have Japanese culture presentation.
During the day we're expecting to see Selcuk, Ephesus, Sirince and Virgin Mary's House.
Next, we'll turn back to the city center, Izmir and after spending a little time in the city center we'll say goodbye to PEACEBOAT.
I have never watched any Japanese movie or anime. And although I had a chance to get basic Japanese language course and Japanese culture lessons as non-technical elective courses in my university, I did not get any of them. But I'm very excited to meet with Japanese people.
We'll see what is going to happen;)
See you..
